报告内容简介：

Radio Resource Management (RRM) plays an important role in wireless communication systems. In this talk, the conventional approach for typical RRM problems is first reviewed. The proposed geometric water-filling (GWF) approach is introduced to solve the power allocation problem to maximize system throughput given total power budget. The basic GWF algorithm is then extended to solve more complicated RRM problems with more stringent constraints.We further extend RRM problem in an energy harvesting green communication system. With the proposed geometric approach, the proposed algorithms efficiently provide accurate optimal power allocation solutions.

报告人简介：

加拿大瑞尔森大学教授，2002年于滑铁卢大学电子工程专业博士研究生毕业，2003年至今瑞尔森大学工程建筑和科学学院电子与计算机工程系，从事科研和教学工作。

主要研究领域包括：无线通信系统、无线资源管理、LTE无线网络管理、协作通信和认知无线电、绿色通信于智能网格、跨层优化、智能嵌入系统及传感等。

主持完成了5项加拿大自然科学基金项目和3项安省项目研究，正主持2项加拿大自然科学基金探索项目和2项安省项目研究，共发表近百篇国际期刊和国际学术会议论文，参与4篇专著的撰写。IEEE 高级会员, 安省注册工程师,担任IEEE Transaction on Vehicular Technology 编辑.
